Compound Crusher

Compound crusher or combination crusher is mainly used in medium crushing production line, which is ideal fine crushing equipment that can be used to crush iron ore, sandstone, gypsum, gangue, coal briquette and other materials. 

Compound crusher is vertical, so, it is also called vertical compound crusher. The feed port is located at the top of machine. Materials enter the machine from the upper feed port. The power of compound crusher is provided by electromotor and belt pulley.

The belt pulley of some compound crushers is located at the top of machine. While belt pulley of some others is located at the bottom of machine. Under normal circumstances, the belt pulley of small compound crusher is on the top of the machine. Belt pulley of large compound crusher is at the bottom of the machine.

Compound crusher has no grate bars. In working process, materials dropped down through the top feed port enters into high-speed rotating impeller and falls continuously in the crushing cavity. In the falling process, materials are impacted by high-speed rotating plate hammer, thus being crushed and discharged outside the machine from the bottom.
