Coal Slime Dryer

Formation of coal slime has various conditions, such as waste coal in coal preparation plant and coal-water mixture in coal mining process. Different coal slime has different nature. 

But coal slime has a common feature, namely large moisture content. Hence, coal slime should be dried before using. While coal slime dryer is a kind of drying machine mainly used to dry coal slime.

Generally speaking, coal slime dryer or sludge dryer is composed of heat source, scattered device, belt feeder, feeding device, rotary drum, belt discharging device, induced draft fan, unloading machine, power distribution cabinet and so on.

Working Process of Coal Slime Dryer

In the first place, wet coal slime goes though stock guide and enters dryer, thus being contacted with hot air with high temperature, then the water of coal slime is evaporated rapidly. Materials are repeatedly grabbed by the grabbing plank of large lead angle, thus not being formed caking coal slime.

In the second place, wet coal slime is grabbed by copy plate and forms material curtain state. Then hot air takes away humidity of coal slime. In rolling process, cleaning device crushes bonding block of materials, thus improving drying rate.

Lastly, the dried coal slime which has reached the required moisture content enters feed port and rolls and slides to discharge opening, thus finishing drying process.
